  • Randomness

    From a few days ago:
The news is filled with MJ's death all over.. TV is replaying his old MVs... Hmm..

Isn't it interesting that a lot of the most famous/talented people in this world all die young (Tom pointed this out before)? Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, James Dean, Bruce Lee, Heath Ledger, Princess Diana, MJ.. Most of them shaped the world into what it is now in some way.

Of course, there are also talented people who live a long life, thank goodness.

But when talented people (or in Lady Di's case - contributing to the society?) die, no matter what he/she was like in his/her personal life, you can't help but feel some kind of loss. MJ was weird, but nevertheless he was a genius (and so was Einstein, weird genius..!). I was actually skeptical about accusations regarding the child molestations because when you're famous, people will always try to take advantage of you.. and as an outsider, you'll never know the truth. Maybe he did.. maybe he didn't.. Poor MJ probably didn't have any real friends.. and again this is just me making assumptions.

Will the world be worse without him? or better? Well... life goes on.. people move on.. the earth goes on spinning. There will be new child prodigies springing up from some unknown little town with humble beginnings who'll innovate new stuff. And he'll be famous. And he'll die as well. And then we'll feel a loss again.

He was clearly looking forward to his comeback show, dancing and singing and choreographing every day (and at his age, not always an easy task). Now everything is gone. And that's sad.

Bye, MJ. I'll listen to your songs now and then and remember you for the genius you were.

PS. No, I'm not a fan or anything. I just thought that since people are writing about him all over the place I thought I'd share my point of view.. which is probably nothing special, really... haha.. :P

    Today:
The first part of this entry was from a few days ago, but I didn't post it... I decided to post it now coz I saw a bunch of people standing on the street watching TV in front of a DVD shop in Tsim Sha Tsui. I was wondering what the commotion was all about when I found that the shop was playing Michael Jackson's concert DVD.

Later on the day, I went to Wan Chai, and the exact same thing happened in front of another DVD shop! The crowd actually took about half of the street space~!

Other random things: I saw this guy in an expensive suit, with his luggage.. walking in the middle of the road in TST. He was tall and he was walking upright. Like a really proud royal person you see in old Disney cartoons.. with his baggage... and I thought "Hmmm, Englishman". I have no idea why I thought he would be English...

I was late to take my phone out to take the picture, but he was on the main road the whole time. No car passing at the time, interestingly..

Oh, by the way... I appeared on last Tuesday's TVB morning news for about 3 seconds saying some supposedly professional stuff in a really lame way XD

I was lucky they cut out the bad stuff (I wasn't nervous at the time but then I screwed up the interview hahaha)

Oh! One more random stuff someone posted on Datingish.

    That video is so cute!!
